This role places you at the core of our optical production activities. As an Optical Production Engineer, you'll contribute to the assembly, integration, and validation of high-performance optical systems used in space missions, ensuring the highest standards of precision and reliability.

Your mission
You will be part of the production team, contributing to the assembly, integration, and testing of advanced optical payloads. Your work will ensure that all optical systems meet the required performance and quality standards for space environments.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Development and improvement of AIT activities, procedures, and setups.
- Characterization of cameras for subsequent analysis.
- Execution of payload focusing tasks.
- Definition and procurement of OGSE (Optical Ground Support Equipment).
- Implementation of assembly, integration, and validation phases of optoelectronic payloads according to established procedures.
- Preparation of technical documentation and reports.
- Support in proposals and projects related to the production of optical Systems.
What will set you up for success
- Technical foundation: You hold a Degree in Optics and Optometry, Physics, or Engineering with a specialization in Optics.
- Experience and knowledge:
- Experience in optical system design, particularly for space instrumentation.
- Experience in image quality measurement (MTF, PSF, WFE).
- Experience with optical sensors in VIS, SWIR, and thermal ranges.
- Experience working with optical systems in cleanroom environments.
- Autonomy and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and in a team.
