Who we are looking for

The International Markets Development Dvision (IMDD) is responsible for expanding and managing Chiesi's operations in international markets. This division focuses on portfolio strategy, commercial excellence,and the integration of various business units to enhance the company's presence and performance in growth and core markets.
The AIR & CARE Strategic Marketing Lead will drive the strategic and operational marketing of the AIR and CARE portfolio across IMDD markets by translating global brand strategies into local relevant, insight-driven initiatives. The role focuses on identifying growth opportunities in key markets through deep market understanding, competitive positioning and tailored brand activation strategies.
You will be responsible for
Strategic Brand Leadership & Market Acceleration
- Lead the development and implementation of robust, insight-driven brand strategies for the AIR and CARE portfolio across priority IMDD markets
- Translate global brand strategy into locally actionable planes tailored to distributor markets. Ensure alignment between brand strategy and commercial priorities
- Identify growth opportunities and barriers in Tier 1 markets
- Work with BUs and Partners to address market-specific pain points and competitive challenges
Market Insights, Competitive Intelligence & Opportunity Identification
- Identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for local market research
- Oversee insight studies, market research projects, and HCP perception analysis
- Monitor competitive dynamics, therapeutic landscape evolution, and treatment trends while working closely with BI & ComEx to leverage IQVIA data, market performance metrics, and CI
Launch Readiness & Lifecycle Management
- Collaborate with the Lifecycle & LE Lead to ensure brand readiness for upcoming launches. Support post-launch monitoring and optimization of brand performance
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand adoption and differentiation
Brand Governance, Training & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead brand discussions during Business Review Meetings (BRMs)
- Provide strategic guidance to Partners and BUs on brand strategy and positioning
- Deliver product and brand training to Partners and ensure strong collaboration with Global Franchise, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams
Distributor Market Activation & Local Execution
- Work with Tier-1 markets and Partners to identify execution gaps and growth opportunities
- Develop tailored marketing initiatives and action plans adapted to market realities
You will need to have
- Scientific background
- 7-10 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience
- Strong experience in brand management or strategic marketing roles
- Strong strategic marketing mindset combined with operational execution
- Proven track record in brand planning and execution in the pharma or life science industry
- Experience with launch planning and lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of brand planning, market insights generation, competitive positioning and launch readiness in a matrix environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, being comfortable operating cross-functionally, influencing without authority and translating global strategies into locally relevant, impact-driven plans.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and translate into action
We would prefer for you to have
- Prior experience in Asthma and COPD
- Experience working with international markets
- Experience with distributor-driven environment
