Job Description:

An opportunity for Internal Communications has arisen within Airbus defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid)

Within an international team of communication professionals the jobholder reports to the Head of Communications for Commercial Aircraft in Spain (GMO) and is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the internal communications plan for Spain in line with the overall communicationstrategy of Airbus.

The jobholder supports the following activities:

  • developing content and key messages for campaigns of the internal communications plan and for internal briefing packages (e.g. Teamtalk, presentations and speeches).

  • delivering at local level internal communications activities that support the business operational targets and the local communications objectives, ensuring the right message is communicated to the right audience using the right channels at the right time and in the right context.

  • orchestrating and feeding all local internal channels: publication of articles, proofreading, content creation and maintenance of the internal TV programme and system, coordination and implementation of company-wide poster campaigns.

  • actively contributing and representing the local internal communication team in relevant multi functional teams, to identify opportunities, advise when needed and ensure close coordination with the relevant colleagues

  • ensuring all internal communication is planned in line with the corporate communications plans, prioritise the key topics, link in with the external communication team to ensure clear understanding of the landscape outside Airbus and aligning internal and external messaging.

  • working with the events team to support them when organising leadership events on French sites

  • measuring the effectiveness of above mentioned activities and adjusting accordingly.

  • counselling functions/projects/key managers on general internal communications issues, recommending actions to be included in the yearly internal communications plan.

  • protecting the Airbus brand and image internally, ensuring alignment of content and key messages with corporate vision and objectives.
