Our Health Support Team is a specialist medical information helpline staffed by nurses, midwives, counsellors, and pharmacists, providing expert advice to our members whenever they need it around the clock. Whether it's a health concern or a simple question, we're here to offer reassurance and support around the clock, helping to ease worries and provide peace of mind. As part of our dynamic team, you'll deliver expert medical guidance and support, with all the tools and training you need to succeed, plus ongoing professional development to support your registration. Key responsibilities: Provide empathetic guidance and support on a broad range of health-related issues to our members and their families. Maintain our helplines supporting our members and their families covering a variety of shifts including evenings, nights and weekends. Support members through a variety of media including telephone (both inbound and outbound calls), email queries, text messaging and live chat. Using the online booking platform to support members in making appointments. Assisting members with accessing the best specialist, in a timely way. Act as a clinical expert and role model, to provide specialist knowledge and assistance. Build and maintain sound relationships. Take an active interest in your team, department and the wider business targets and how you can personally contribute to achieve these. Take ownership and continuously develop your professional skills, including enhancement of your clinical knowledge. Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. After your training period, due to the nature of the role and shift pattern, most shifts will be worked from home, with the requirement to be in our Tunbridge Wells office once every 4 weeks. Occasionally, additional office days may be needed. When working from home, you'll need a quiet, private, and confidential space to carry out your duties effectively. Working Hours & Shift Pattern: Our shift patterns are designed to offer 24/7 support to our members and involve a blend of day shifts, night shifts and weekends and will earn you varying shift allowances in addition to your basic salary. Induction & Training: To help you settle into the team and prepare for success in your new role, you'll attend a comprehensive induction in the Tunbridge Wells office for your first two weeks. During this period, you'll work Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with the remaining part of your induction completed remotely. Your skills & experience: Registered Adult Nurse (RN). Current registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC). Nursing diploma or Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in nursing. Additional qualification in midwifery would be beneficial. Substantive post registration clinical experience. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Sound relationship management capabilities. Proficiency in IT tools and social media platforms. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
