We are seeking a Senior MuleSoft Engineer to join a long-term enterprise integration initiative. This role is primarily hands-on development, focused on designing, building, and maintaining scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in API-led connectivity, enterprise integration patterns, and Salesforce system integrations. This is a high-impact role within a mature engineering environment, requiring strong ownership and technical execution.

You will be joining a strategic, long-term integration program within a fast-growing, product-driven organization. The primary objective is to modernize and scale enterprise integrations using MuleSoft, with a strong focus on connecting Salesforce with internal systems and third-party platforms.

The project follows API-led architecture principles and emphasizes secure, reusable, and scalable integration design. The environment is Agile-based, collaborative, and engineering-focused, with a strong emphasis on clean implementation, automated testing, and maintainable architecture.

This is not a maintenance-only role - it involves building and evolving integration frameworks that will support core business operations at scale.

• Design, develop, and deploy integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform

• Build APIs following API-led connectivity architecture (System, Process, Experience APIs)

• Develop complex transformations using DataWeave 2.x

• Integrate Salesforce using REST/SOAP APIs, Bulk APIs, and Platform Events

• Implement secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, TLS)

• Develop and maintain MUnit test suites to ensure high test coverage and reliability

• Deploy and manage applications in CloudHub and/or on-prem runtimes

• Configure and enforce policies using API Manager

• Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies

• Contribute to integration standards, documentation, and reusable assets

• 6+ years of integration development experience

• 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience

• Strong expertise in:

  • Anypoint Studio

  • CloudHub

  • API Manager

  • Runtime Manager

  • DataWeave 2.x

  • MUnit testing framework

• Solid understanding of:

  • RESTful API design (RAML / OpenAPI)

  • SOAP services

  • API security best practices

  • Integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, batch)

  • Error handling strategies

• Experience integrating with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API, OAuth flows)

• Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, HTTP protocols

• Experience with Git-based version control workflows

• Ability to work in hybrid environments with PST overlap

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket)

• Experience with event-driven and messaging systems:

  • Kafka

  • JMS

  • AMQP

  • Anypoint MQ

• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Enterprise SaaS integrations (ERP, HRIS, Finance platforms)

• MuleSoft certifications (MCD or Integration Architect)
