We´re currently seeking an Intern, Accounts Receivable (H/M).

This position will be based in our HQ in Madrid.

On a typical day you will:

Ensure accurate recording and tracking of invoicing and collections.
Improve efficiency in payment application and reconciliations.
Reduce outstanding items and resolution times.
Support financial reporting preparation (aging, KPIs).
Reduce operational workload within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Record and track customer invoices.
Support cash collection management (bank transfers, direct debits, promissory notes).
Apply payments in internal systems.
Reconcile customer accounts.
Follow up on outstanding balances and discrepancies.
Maintain and update internal databases.
Support reporting activities (aging reports, financial reporting).

Although the role will be primarily within Accounts Receivable, it is designed with a cross-functional learning approach within the Finance Department:

Exposure to end-to-end financial processes
Interaction with other departments (Accounting, Treasury, Controlling, etc.)
Opportunity for ad hoc collaboration with other teams depending on workload and interest.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

Currently studying a Bachelor degree.
Fluent English knowledge
Pace, autonomy, strong organization and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively
