Scope of Position
- Providing support to the Quality department by performing administrative tasks, producing reports, CMM inspections and Weld evaluations.
Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year in a field of study of quality or mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of basic SPC, measuring equipment, blueprint reading GD&T, filing system (electronic & paper) and IATF 16949:2016 requirements.
- Knowledge of CMM measurements, weld sectioning & evaluations and sedimentation testing's
- Excellent documentation & organizational skills
- Extremely detail oriented and diligent
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and train operators to support their operations
- Working knowledge of English language (both written and spoken) able to communicate with internal & external suppliers
- Flexible in regard to working different shifts and/or overtime when required
Vacancy: Immediate, Open Position
Hourly Wage Range: $25/ hour
Job Specific Responsibilities
- Inspect parts using different measuring equipment
- Record and plot data on computer software
- Inspect and audit processes and products to ensure they conform to the company's quality standards
- Organize records as per record retention work instructions
- Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager
- Actively and positively support the continued practice of Core Values behaviours

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggestion program.
- Supports all plant TS 16949 & ISO initiatives and requirements.
- Review suspect material from your shift's production supported by Team Leader/Supervisors and enter scrap quantities in T4M after disposition. (Scrap, non-conformances, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Quality Manager.
- Observe standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act, as well as the rules and regulations outlined in the Employee Handbook
General Responsibilities
- Adhere to standards and rules described in the Employee Handbook, conduct in a manner consistent with those practices leading to the safe operation of the division and displaying leadership, concerns and a safe work ethics.
- Actively and positively support the continued practice of Common Values behaviours.
- Comply and participate with Suggestions and Continuous Improvement program at MSM.
- Follow Operators' Downtime Escalation Process
- Initiate and embrace company change.
- Other assignments as required by the Maintenance Manager
- Failure to follow MSM procedures can result in customer dissatisfaction and have a negative reflection on MSM.
