The role drives end-to-end strategy, execution, and continuous transformation of university hiring, internship, and graduate programs-attracting, developing, and converting exceptional talent to help shape the future of technology.

With a strong focus on proactivity, data-driven decision-making, innovation, and automation, the role continuously evolves how HP designs, scales, and measures early-career talent programs to meet dynamic business needs, changing workforce expectations, and future skills demand.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Director of Global University Programs by helping shape the global university talent agenda, translating priorities into regional execution, and ensuring alignment across global program objectives.
  • Set strategic vision and direction for sourcing, school strategy, employer branding, and communications, leveraging inclusive practices, market insights, and innovative AI-enabled and automated recruiting solutions to build future-ready talent pipelines.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate processes, use AI, standardize ways of working, and scale best practices across regions, improving candidate experience, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Apply AI, automation, and digital recruiting tools responsibly for improving productivity, decision quality, candidate engagement, and process consistency.
  • Design consistent, engaging candidate and intern experiences across digital, in-person, and hybrid touchpoints to strengthen attraction, engagement, and conversion.
  • Lead the design and execution of consistent, scalable intern and graduate onboarding and development programs, accountable for budgets, governance, tracking, approvals, and reporting across respective geographies.
  • Drive strategic university partnerships and ecosystem relationships, continuously assessing core schools and related institutions to ensure alignment with HP's business priorities, skills strategy, and local legal and contractual frameworks.
  • Ensure recruiting processes, university partnerships, and program operations align with regional compliance requirements, data privacy standards, employment practices, and HP governance expectations.
  • Act as a consultant to business leaders, People Partners, and TA stakeholders, influencing decisions through data, insights, and market perspectives.
  • Own metrics, analytics, and outcomes, following clear success measures, tracking performance, and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusivity, innovation, and growth, while acting in line with HP Leadership Principles and positive people leadership.

Key deliverables/accountabilities:

  • Successful delivery of scalable, high-impact university hiring and programs across APJ and EMEA.
  • Achievement of hiring, conversion, quality-of-hire, and CSAT outcomes aligned with business priorities.
  • Continuous improvement and automation of university recruiting processes and programs.

  • Proven experience leading complex programs across regions and markets, ideally in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Proven experience leading teams to successful outcomes through ambiguity and change, both in person and remotely.
  • Proven experience developing people through coaching, providing stretch assignments, formal learning and project ownership.

Other requirements:

  • Innovative, forward-thinking, and solution-oriented; comfortable challenging the status quo.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
  • Collaborative leader who thrives in complex, global, and fast-changing environments.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, with success building new programs and driving change with resistant teams and businesses.
  • Introspective growth mindset for self-development and demonstrated emotional intelligence.
