Location Details: India - Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

What you'll get to do...

• Own the design, implementation, and ongoing support of Workday Financials, with primary accountability for Accounting Center-based integrations and journal automation.
• Build and maintain source-to-ledger mappings, transformation rules, validations, and reconciliation logic to ensure accurate, SOX-compliant financial postings.
• Partner with Accounting to improve month-end and quarter-end close efficiency by reducing manual journal effort and enhancing close-readiness processes.
• Provide senior-level production support for close-critical processes, including troubleshooting posting and integration issues and implementing durable root-cause fixes.
• Collaborate with Finance, CorpTech, Data, and the Workday Security team to ensure appropriate access controls, system reliability, and alignment with governance standards.
• Maintain and enhance Workday configuration (business processes, FDM, validations, reporting) while supporting upgrades, deployments, and continuous platform improvements.

Your experience should include...

• 8+ years of experience in Finance Systems, Accounting, or Business Systems roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Workday Financials (FDM, Business Process Framework, Report Writer, Accounting Center - required).
• Experience supporting SOX-compliant finance systems and close processes.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across US and India.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills; ERP implementation/finance transformation experience preferred.

You might also have...

• Experience building or supporting solutions using Workday Extend.
• Familiarity with Prism Analytics or downstream reporting tools.
• Exposure to finance process automation or integration-heavy environments.
