This is a hybrid position. You'll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. This role is for a Senior Software Engineer in India who will be a founding member of a brand new Sales Intelligence team within GoDaddy.
We're building from the ground up to transform how GoDaddy does sales. Our mission: add intelligence to lead generation and assignment, and build the right tools so sales teams can focus on what matters most-bringing in new customers.
This team will build greenfield solutions, optimize existing Salesforce workflows, and leverage AI to surface the right context at the right time. We believe in rolling out AI-powered features to real users, not just developing with AI tools internally.

What you'll get to do...

• Design and build intelligent lead scoring, routing, and assignment systems that directly impact sales outcomes
• Develop integrations and custom solutions on the Salesforce platform (Apex, Flows, LWC) to streamline sales workflows
• Build backend services and APIs (Java, TypeScript) that power sales tools and AI-driven features
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Data Science teams to identify high-impact opportunities
• Implement AI/ML-powered features-leveraging LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval systems to provide contextual intelligence to sales reps
• Propose and drive engineering initiatives to establish a solid technical foundation for a new team
• Help define team practices, mentor future hires, and shape the engineering culture
• Own the full lifecycle: from requirements and design through release, monitoring, and iteration

Your experience should include...

You might also have...

• Prior experience building sales tools, CRM integrations, or revenue operations systems
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and practical experience using LLMs in production (prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling)
• Experience with lead scoring, sales analytics, or marketing automation platforms
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Background in event-driven architecture or real-time data processing
