About the role Deel IT manages the full device lifecycle for Deel's global workforce-procurement, shipping, support, and returns-across 100+ countries and a network of 50+ couriers and suppliers. It's a high-stakes internal operation where SLAs are real and the cost of failure is visible. We're hiring a Staff PM to own the Operations sub-team product surface. The engineering backlog is large and well-defined. The problems are understood. What's needed is someone who can prioritise at pace, drive automation of manual processes across logistics and device lifecycle, and stay close to the data. This is an execution-heavy role, not a discovery-heavy one. What you'll do Own and prioritise the product roadmap for Deel IT Operations, driving delivery from a large engineering backlog with urgency and precision. Ship automation that removes humans from manual workflows-shipping label generation, real-time tracking aggregation, device condition documentation, and IT support resolution. Own the metrics that matter. Examples include on-time device delivery rate, ticket response time, and revenue per ops and engineering headcount. You define good, track it, and close the gap. Build reporting and early warning systems that surface SLA risk before it becomes a failure. Work daily with engineering, operations, and supplier teams-translating frontline complexity into prioritised, well-scoped work. Use AI tools actively in your day-to-day-research, synthesis, documentation, decision-making. This is an expectation, not a bonus. What we're looking for Essential 6+ years of product management experience, including at least 1 year in a Staff PM or equivalent senior IC role with lead-level scope and ownership. Systems thinker: you understand how teams, tools, and processes connect and find leverage points others miss. Execution-led: you're close to the work, hold detail, drive delivery, and move fast without losing quality. Data fluent: comfortable with SQL, data platforms, and spreadsheets-you pull your own analysis and build your own views. Proven in fast-iterative environments at scale: ship, measure, learn, adjust-in environments where growth creates operational complexity. Active AI user: you use AI tools in your day-to-day work and can demonstrate it, not just describe it. Nice to have Background in logistics, supply chain, or physical operations-fulfilment, device lifecycle, rider ops, or similar. Experience with supplier networks or multi-party operational systems. Exposure to internal tooling or non-customer-facing platform product work. Total Rewards Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission. Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.
