***This position is for a part-time Janitor at Centre on Barton in Hamilton, Ontario***

About the role

Reporting to the Manager, Operations, the successful candidate will fill the part-time position of Cleaner at Centre on Barton location. The primary responsibilities of this role are to ensure that mall areas are kept neat and tidy during mall hours, providing shoppers with a positive experience.

• Regular cleaning of tables, chairs, and other facilities and fixtures at the mall;

• Collect and operate the food tray washing unit, stacking trays, and distributing trays to tenants;

• Sweep and dry/wet mop floors (etc.) as required in the Food Court;

• Clean the service, waste, and recycling areas to keep them neat and orderly.

• Fine detail cleaning before and after close; and

• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring

• High School diploma

• Knowledge of WHMIS legislation

• Two (2) years of housekeeping experience

• Solid customer service skills

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $44,000 to $48,000

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
