At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are launching the new edition of our 2026 Internship Program, aimed at individuals with enthusiasm, a desire to learn, and a willingness to contribute to our purpose: improving the lives of present and future generations.

We are looking for an AI Solutions Intern to join our IT Infrastructure team in Sant Cugat. In this role, you will support the creation, configuration, testing and documentation of reusable AI agent templates using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform and internal AI tools. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about AI and digital transformation who wants to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment. You do not need to be a developer, but you should be curious, proactive, detail-oriented and able to learn independently. You will help build and maintain reusable templates, document prompts and workflows, perform functional testing and support different business teams through IT.

What will your day-to-day look like?

You will participate in the building and configuration for AI agents in an enterprise environment.
You will learn how to use Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
You will understeand how generative AI can support business processes.
You will help in the design for reusable templates and scalable solution patterns.
You will learn how to write effective prompts and agent instructions.
You will give support testing, documenting and improving AI solutions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across different business areas.
You will help applying governance, consistency and quality principles to AI adoption.

What kind of profile are we looking for?

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree student in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, IT, Business Technology or related fields.
Competencies: Curious about AI and emerging technologies, with a self-driven, proactive mindset. Detail-oriented and structured, with a strong focus on quality, documentation, and problem-solving. Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences, a collaborative team player, and adaptable to fast-changing environments.
Technical skills: Interest in generative AI and digital tools, command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel, ability to understand business needs and translate them into structured documentation or simple tool configurations and comfortable learning of new platforms and working with low-code/no-code tools will be valued.
Languages: Advanced level of English and Spanish (written and spoken). Catalan will be a plus.
Availability: Start date September 18th 2026, with the possibility to sign a university internship agreement for approximately 12 months.
