Overview: Buyer Specialist is responsible to assist direct superior in developing and implementing procurement strategy to ensure E2E (End to End) procurement function is operating in line with the objectives of the business to add value, mitigate the risk, deliver cost savings and procurement governance. Responsibilities: •Process purchase requisition raised by users, explore vendor and perform cost analysis •Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods •Provide procurement summary, reports and updates as and when required •Act as an interface between vendor/ supplier and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities •Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures •Liaise with business user, vendor and legal for agreement process and •Liaise with procurement governance for periodic reporting (SLA, full fill due diligence, vendor performance) •Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement Qualification: •Min. bachelor's degree in management, Economic and Industrial Engineering or any related field •Min. 4 years working experience in procurement area
