SAP Manufacturing & Logistics Solutions Manager

Summary

This role is responsible for owning and evolving SAP S/4HANA solutions supporting Manufacturing and Logistics processes within Amadeus Airport Operations. Acting as Product Manager for the SAP portfolio in scope, the role ensures end‑to‑end delivery, alignment with business needs, and effective coordination of internal and external teams. It leads solution design, build, testing, deployment, and ongoing support, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining standardized and integrated processes. The role also drives continuous improvement, risk management, and strong collaboration with business stakeholders and third‑party providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, deliver, and maintain SAP S/4HANA business applications for Amadeus Airport Operations, supporting Manufacturing (Industrial and Field Operations) and Logistics processes using SAP WM, TM, PP, and QM modules;
• Act as Product Manager for the SAP solutions portfolio in scope, ensuring end‑to‑end ownership and alignment with business needs;
• Manage, coordinate, and supervise daily activities of the SAP solution team, including internal and external resources, applying agile ways of working;
• Ensure effective problem resolution, risk management, and overall project success, while managing relationships with third‑party providers;
• Lead solution identification by working closely with internal customers to propose solutions that meet business requirements while keeping processes and tools as standard and integrated as possible;
• Validate detailed requirements and ensure delivered solutions meet agreed expectations;
• Lead functional design activities by reviewing business specifications with Airport Operations stakeholders and assessing impacts on existing processes and tools;
• Oversee solution construction, ensuring appropriate customization or development, execution of end‑to‑end testing (functional, regression, performance), coordination of UAT, and validation of user documentation and training materials;
• Ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery of agreed solutions, with regular communication to business partners;
• Provide ongoing application support and drive continuous improvement by proposing enhancements to increase stability and process efficiency.

About the ideal candidate:

• 5+ years of experience in a multinational environment, leading IT Manufacturing and Logistics systems across multi‑site operations, with strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations in a consulting or delivery role;
• Solid understanding of Manufacturing (Industrial Operations and Field Operations) and Logistics business processes;
• Strong functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in:
  • Logistics: Warehouse Management (WM), Transportation Management (TM)
  • Manufacturing: Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), Quality Management (QM)
• Working knowledge of SAP Finance and Logistics integration, including FI, CO, Product Costing, MM, and SD is desirable;
• Basic understanding of ABAP, SAP S/4HANA data models, and HANA relational database concepts;
• Proven experience managing SAP projects and leading teams, with strong delivery and coordination skills;
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; Spanish is an advantage.
