🔹The Project🔹

You will join a high-impact project for a European Agency, focused on the design, development, and deployment of GIS solutions for both desktop and web applications.

The project involves multiple stakeholders, high visibility at management level, and strict requirements for performance and reliability. The GIS Developer role is critical in creating geospatial APIs, optimizing service performance, and maintaining databases to ensure the efficiency, scalability, and accuracy of geospatial services.

You will work in a multicultural and international environment, where English is the working language for all communications, reporting, and documentation.

🔹 Responsibilities 🔹

Develop desktop and web GIS applications

Build multi-tier GIS architectures and geospatial APIs

Create interactive map viewers (OpenLayers, Leaflet, ArcGIS API)

Manage spatial databases and optimize GIS services

Test, debug, and document GIS solutions

Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders

Web & Desktop GIS: ArcGIS Desktop, OpenLayers, Leaflet

Backend: J2EE, Node.js, Tomcat/Wildfly

Databases: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle, MySQL

Languages & Tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python

Experience: 5+ years in GIS development, Web GIS, and multi-tier architectures

Skills: API design, spatial data management, performance optimization

Language: English (C1+), written and spoken
