Languages: Advanced level in English.
Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of assembly processes, Jigs & Tools, and proficiency in SAP (PEA/PAC) and Catia V5.
Valuable / Nice to have: Familiarity with Airbus routing tools, configuration control procedures, or experience leading risk mitigation (FMEA) sessions.

Job Description:
An opportunity for a Work Preparation Process Engineer has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the Work Preparation & Process Engineering Team. Acting as the vital link between Design Engineering and the Shop Floor, our mission is to ensure that industrial requirements are integrated into the product design from the earliest stages. We define the "How" of production, ensuring a seamless, cost-effective, and high-quality transition from concept to physical aircraft, while equipping our technicians with the exact tools, data, and instructions needed for operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain to embed industrial needs and Manufacturing & Process (M&P) requirements into the early design phase.
Define and specify technical requirements for industrial assets, including Jigs, Tools, and specialized machinery for new installations or modifications.
Own and manage the Integrated Manufacturing Dossier by creating and updating Routings, Bills of Materials (BoM), and Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) according to Airbus procedures.
Maintain accountability for configuration management (Delta 2) and implement Standard Time Values (STV) to optimize production sequencing.
Ensure process integrity, safety, and quality by leading PFMEA sessions and providing ME authority signatures on Airbus Process Specifications (AIPS/AIPI).
Provide active shop floor technical support, resolving escalated complex issues while identifying Lean and continuous cost-improvement (CI) measures.
