Ready to join one of our Graduate Programs in Spain?

AIRBUS offer more than 70 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - #Discover II 2026/2027 - Starting date 5th October 2026 until 1st October.
We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.

The selection process will be during April 2026 until July 2026.

What does this internship consists in?

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (Discover) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to Discover the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early October 2026, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Internship Job Description:

Tasks to be carried out by the student:
- Gathering and organising historical company quotation data and project budgets.
- Consolidating multi-source inputs from different departments, suppliers, and contributors into a unified database.
- Conducting comparative analysis between initial estimated quotes and final execution costs.
- Identifying cost variances and pinpointing specific contributors or areas exceeding allocated budgets.
- Developing analytical dashboards or tracking sheets to visualize pricing trends and deviations.
- Drafting comprehensive reports with actionable insights to improve future bidding competitiveness.
- Presenting data-driven findings to the project manager and relevant internal stakeholders.
Knowledge to be acquired by the student.
- Advanced data analysis skills applied to real-world corporate financial data and cost modeling.
- Expertise in analytical tools such as advanced Google Sheets, business intelligence software, or internal ERP systems.
- In-depth understanding of corporate bidding, commercial quoting processes, and procurement workflows.
- Strategic budget management techniques, specifically variance analysis and cost control methodologies.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving by translating raw financial metrics into strategic business recommendations.
- Cross-departmental communication through collaboration with various project contributors and HR teams.
- Professional reporting skills, learning how to present financial insights clearly to corporate decision-makers.
Within which projects or areas the internship will be carried out:belonging to Programmes for regular activities, the candidate will interface as well with Finance, Marketing and Sales, Procurement, Finances and Controlling, Engineering, and Production among many others.

Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering by UC3M
English level: C1
