We're now looking for a Payroll Specialist International based in Barcelona to join our growing international payroll team and help us coordinate payroll operations across France and Italy.

How will it be to work with us?

• Coordinate end-to-end payroll activities with external providers across France and Italy.

• Validate and consolidate payroll input data (hires, terminations, variable pay, absences, benefits, etc.).

• Review calculations and reports from vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local labor and tax regulations.

• Support Finance with payment files, reconciliations, and payroll reporting.

• Manage employee payroll queries in coordination with HR and external providers.

• Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of payroll processes across the region.

• Participate in audits, system updates, and transitions related to payroll operations.

• Act as backup for other countries in the team, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.

What will make you succeed in this position:

• 2-4 years of experience in payroll coordination, ideally in multinational or shared-service environments.

• Solid knowledge of payroll regulations in France or Italy, and interest in expanding to multi-country scope.

• Experience working with external payroll BPO (e.g., ADP, SD Worx) and HRIS/ERP systems (Workday, SAP, etc.).

• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.

• Fluent in English, plus working level in French, Italian or Spanish (more than one is a big plus).

• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a problem-solving mindset.

• Comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities.

• Team-oriented, curious, and proactive in an international environment.
