We are looking for a data-driven and detail-oriented BI Analyst/ Commercial Performance Lead to analyze and document commercial initiatives across Sportsbook, Gaming, CRM, and VIP verticals. The key objective of this role is to identify opportunities for optimization, drive data-led decisions, and support continuous improvement of commercial KPIs and overall business performance.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate complex insights in a clear and actionable manner.
What you'll be doing:
Commercial Optimization
- Build, maintain, and optimize performance dashboards for all commercial verticals in alignment with the needs of the Head of Commercial and wider teams.
- Analyze trends and performance drivers to provide insights and actionable recommendations that enhance business results.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director, and Head of Commercial to identify and prioritize performance improvement areas.
Data Management & Analysis
- Create and maintain a centralized database for all analyses, reports, and performance tracking.
- Ensure consistent documentation, version control, and follow-up of all analytical activities and experiments.
- Conduct ad-hoc and recurring performance analyses, ensuring data accuracy and insight relevance.
Experiments & Testing
- Lead the experimentation process, maintaining a database of all tests and results.
- Collaborate with the Commercial and Product teams to define hypotheses, timing, and success metrics.
- Document test outcomes, share insights, and follow up on implementation of learnings.
Process Optimization & Knowledge Management
- Create and maintain the Poland Notion workspace to document key processes, templates, and performance frameworks.
- Establish local coordination channels, meeting schedules, and internal/external JIRA workflows to improve collaboration.
- Manage the local commercial calendar, including campaign timelines, bonus events, and other key activities - ensuring alignment and avoiding duplicated efforts.
- Oversee Slack and email coordination for the local commercial team.
Customer Experience & Market Intelligence
- Collect, analyze, and report customer feedback on a monthly basis, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct and document competitor analyses, ensuring all data is centralized and accessible.
- Support customer interview processes to gain qualitative insights, aligning research plans with key stakeholders.
Product Innovation & Improvement
- Create and manage an Innovation Database to capture product improvement ideas and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to submit quarterly product proposals and monitor progress.
- Ensure alignment between customer insights, product feedback, and commercial priorities.
What we are looking for:
- Technical Mastery: SQL fluency (we use Snowflake) is a non-negotiable (but, we are open if you can make data talk through other languages!). You should be equally comfortable working with complex data as you are doing deep inquiry through statistical/ML methods and bringing them to life in dashboards (we use Tableau).
- Data Storytelling: You excel at transforming complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives. You can communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, making data accessible and actionable for decision-making.
- Commercial & Product Acumen: You don't just crunch numbers; you understand how data connects to business outcomes, product design, and customer behavior.
- Bias for Impact: You care less about perfect models and more about driving measurable change. Your analyses are only successful if they move the needle.
- Proven Track Record: Previous experience in analytics and/or product data science roles (ideally in product or commercial domains) where you've directly influenced strategy and growth.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience in Sportsbook or Casino operations.
- Familiarity with JIRA and project management workflows.
- Understanding of CRM segmentation and retention analytics.
- Prior experience in a multimarket or cross-functional commercial team.
