We are looking to hire an Export Ocean Operations Specialist to manage international ocean export shipments FCL/LCL, ensuring full operational follow-up from booking to final destination.

The selected candidate will join the operations team and will be actively involved in coordinating with shipping lines, our own network, hauliers, and customers, guaranteeing an efficient, high-quality service.

Main responsibilities

• End-to-end management of export ocean shipments (FCL/LCL).
• Booking management with shipping lines and own network.
• Shipment tracking and milestone control (departures, transshipments, etc.).
• Requesting, preparing and checking export documentation (B/L instructions, packing list, invoice, etc.).
• File opening and operational follow-up.
• Coordination of export customs clearance and inland transport.
• Continuous communication with customers and shipment status updates.
• Handling operational incidents.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role as an export ocean operator.
• Longer experience than 3 years will be valued.
• Solid knowledge of international ocean freight, especially FCL/LCL.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume shipments and key accounts.
• Intermediate/advanced level of English (daily use with international partners).
• Good command of IT tools and operational systems.
• Organised, proactive person with a strong customer-service orientation.
