Job Description

What You Can Expect :

At Rhenus South Europe we are looking for a Junior Controller with experience in financial auditing.

Tasks:
1. Support in budgetary control

  • Monitoring the annual budget.
  • Actual vs. budget comparison and variance analysis.
  • Preparation of monthly financial performance reports.


2. Financial and operational reporting

  • Preparation of periodic reports (monthly, quarterly).
  • Financial KPI updates: revenue, margin, EBITDA, cash flow, etc.
  • Preparing presentations for management.


3. Basic Financial Analysis

  • Cost analysis by department, project, or business unit.
  • Simple financial modeling (forecast, simulations).
  • Support in analyzing the profitability of products/services.


4. Support in accounting closings

  • Review of provisions, accruals and adjustments.
  • Preparation of documentation for internal/external audits.
  • Coordination with accounting to ensure data quality.


5. Data management and control

  • Updating and maintaining financial databases.
  • Validation of the integrity of information received from other areas.
  • Use of tools such as advanced Excel (essential), Power BI, SAP (desirable), etc.


6. Support for internal areas

  • Interaction with purchasing, sales, and operations to gather information.
  • Collaboration on internal financial efficiency projects.
  • Participation in process improvement initiatives.
