The Redes Gas España business is responsible for the distribution of natural gas and renewable gas and operates nationwide (Spain). As a distribution company, it is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of more than 53,800 km of gas network to which more than 5.4 M supply points in nearly 1,150 municipalities are connected. In this context, we are offering an internship in the Processes and Data unit in Barcelona.

Your daily challenges will be oriented towards:

  • Data analytics for the design and development of improvements in energy distribution business processes.
  • Reporting and monitoring of operational KPIs.
  • Automation of reports and dashboards.
  • Generation of insights for decision-making.
  • Reference projects across the entire organization.

What you need:

  • Final year student of Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or pursuing a master's degree in digitalization / data.
  • Knowledge of database management (SQL: PL-SQL; SAS).
  • Knowledge of programming languages oriented towards data analysis (R, Python, SAS).

The following will be positively valued:

  • English B2.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools: Power BI, Quicksight.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technology (Azure, AWS).
