Melià Hotels international is looking for a Groups Concierge to join our team at Torre Melina Gran Melià Hotel. We are looking for a passionate candidate with good interpersonal and organizational skills who believes they have a propensity for customer relations.
MISSION:
During the group's stay and especially in the operation of events, act as a liaison between the Groups & Events Coordinator and the meeting planner, ensuring that all group needs and requests are properly attended to and that the development of events is as planned.
What will be your main functions?

Know the events that take place daily in the hotel (schedules, rooms, contact, etc.), confirming these with the client before the start of the events. Inform the Events Coordinator and any affected departments of any changes that occur.

Ensure the correct maintenance and condition of the spaces where the group/events will take place, as well as the contracted F&B services before and after the event.

Review all group summaries and service orders, anticipating any opportunity that may arise.

Carry out the creation of minutes and other indicative materials for the event, as well as guest lists, distributing them appropriately.

Resolve and follow up on any incident that may occur with the groups, documenting these daily to analyze which are the most repetitive and establish an appropriate solution.

Accompany guests to the corresponding spaces and be present whenever there are events.

Carry out the tracking of materials and boxes that the hotel receives for groups/events, as well as handle the necessary shipments at the end of the events.

Maintain the ballroom area and the common areas of the hotel.
