Director, Corporate TreasuryDirector, Corporate Treasury (Capital Markets & M&A)The Corporate Treasury team performs all global treasury activities for Mastercard, including capital planning, rating agency relationship management, foreign exchange risk management, cash management/positioning, pensions asset-liability management, capital markets transactions (debt issuance, equity share buy-back), credit facility management, intercompany funding.
We are seeking a highly motivated Director to join the Capital Planning team within Corporate Treasury. This position will be based in Purchase, NY
Reporting to the Vice President, Capital Planning and Analysis, this Director role will be responsible for the execution of Mastercard's corporate capital markets strategy including bond and commercial paper offerings, managing key bank relationships, overseeing treasury due diligence and acquisition integration, and partnering with other areas of Treasury.
Role
Key responsibilities of this role include:
• Lead the Debt Capital Markets strategy, including long-term funding plans, debt portfolio optimization, managing capital market projects, and capital structure planning.
• Oversee commercial paper program strategy, including execution and reporting.
• Own senior relationships with global banking partners, set wallet strategy, and represent Treasury in executive discussions.
• Oversee interest expense forecasting and funding budgets, reviewing key assumptions and approving results.
• Oversee SEC disclosures related to debt to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Sponsor and prioritize improvements to DCM processes, models, and controls.
• Own Treasury due diligence plans for acquisitions and coordinate inputs from Treasury leads (e.g., cash management, FX, risk, insurance, banking, settlement/operations).
• Own development of Treasury due diligence reports for acquisitions and evaluation of Treasury related risks and business impacts
• Lead Treasury M&A integration planning for newly acquired companies and manage delivery (governance, milestones, and issue resolution) across Treasury subject matter experts.
• Drive alignment to the Treasury Activity Policy for newly acquired companies by educating stakeholders, implementing procedures, and remediating controls.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; experienced with MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Knowledge of key accounting concepts and SEC disclosure requirements
• Ability to prioritize work; manage projects in addition to day-to-day responsibilities
• Written and oral English language proficiency; strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
