The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and simulate headlamp modules based on imaging optics using advanced simulation, analytical, and CAD tools.
  • Analyze and optimize optical performance to ensure compliance with defined headlamp specifications and functional efficiency.
  • Oversee lighting-related topics throughout the product development lifecycle, from prototyping to industrialization and final production.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal project teams, customers, and suppliers on all lighting-related matters to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of professional experience as an optical engineer within the automotive lighting industry, with a primary focus on imaging optics.
  • A university degree in a relevant technical or scientific discipline (e.g., optics, physics, mathematics).
  • In-depth technical knowledge of current trends and technologies in automotive headlamp systems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in English in a professional, international environment.
