Roles & Responsibilities:
- Proficient in CAD software Catia V5.
- Responsible for designing of Foam pads considering manufacturing & tooling feasibility.
- Responsible for documentation - OIL, Critical Design Reviews.
- Responsible for CCDR reviews & internal reviews bi-weekly.
- Responsible to visit manufacturing plants as required.
- Knowledge of foam guidelines.
- Knowledge of trim cover development, types of trim attachments.
- Knowledge of foam manufacturing, testing methods, build issues.
- Knowledge of complete seat for foam design.
- Responsible for cross-functional collaboration.
- Active participation in 8D analysis.
- Knowledge of global regulations & OEM requirements studies.
- Responsible to meet customer's deliverables with effective utilization of team.
- Ensure timely phase wise completion of all PDP deliverables.
- Responsible to create open issue lists.
- Responsible to create 2D & 3D in Catia V5.
- Good communication skills-written and verbal.
- Knowledge of data management best practices
Qualification & Experience:
- BE/BTech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
- 7-10 Year experience
