Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzes customer's needs for automated information.
- Writes code to meet customer's needs.
- Provides direction to outside programmers / software suppliers.
- Communicates effectively with internal and external customers.
- Participates in evaluation of new 'business' related software.
- Manages upgrades to existing software programs.
- Maintains an acceptable attendance record.
- Participates in resolution of computer system problems (hardware or software) as the need arises.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.
- Participates in department meetings.
- Completes documentation of activities as required.
- Submits cost reduction and innovation ideas.
- Required: Programming experience in a professional setting
- Preferred: Experience with the following: Visual Basic, Progress, Windows XP/7,Lotus Notes.
- Preferred: Experience leading to knowledge of manufacturing systems.
- Preferred: Experience with wireless devices (scanners, printers, etc.).
- Must have good problem solving skills. Must have good math skills.
- Must have excellent computer skills.
- Must work well with others. Must have good communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and have a high tolerance for stressful situations.
- Must have strong understanding of business systems.
- Required: B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MIS or equivalent
- Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000
