Hardware Test Engineer

Job Introduction:

As an experienced Hardware test Engineer, you will be involved in the validation of electronics design, for traction inverter for electric vehicles.

Major Responsibilities:

• Experience of handling high voltage instruments, and electronics hardware testing in lab, board testing, board bring up etc., if needed using tools like CANape and CANanalyser

• Hands on experience in creating schematics in Altium or similar software.

• Must be able to analyze hardware components and understand the use, function and software interfaces

• Must good in understanding the HW requirement & creation of test cases

• Must be very good in Python Scripting for automation for each test cases: Version control and backup of test scripts using Git

• Execution of tests in climatic chambers for environmental validation

• Preparation of assessment reports including schematic reviews, datasheet studies, and test result analysis, Analysis of assessment data

• Experience in understanding hardware requirement engineering process.

• Manages communication and alignment with all affected stakeholders.

• Hands on mentality for testing and trying things out, schematics creation is nice to have

Knowledge and Education:

• Bachelors or Masters in Electronics/Electrical engineering or equivalent from reputed university/institution

• Very good written and spoken English skills.

Work Experience:

3 to 8 years of experience in Hardware testing or relevant job experience.
