Hardware Test Engineer
Job Introduction:
As an experienced Hardware test Engineer, you will be involved in the validation of electronics design, for traction inverter for electric vehicles.
Major Responsibilities:
Experience of handling high voltage instruments, and electronics hardware testing in lab, board testing, board bring up etc., if needed using tools like CANape and CANanalyser
Hands on experience in creating schematics in Altium or similar software.
Must be able to analyze hardware components and understand the use, function and software interfaces
Must good in understanding the HW requirement & creation of test cases
Must be very good in Python Scripting for automation for each test cases: Version control and backup of test scripts using Git
Execution of tests in climatic chambers for environmental validation
Preparation of assessment reports including schematic reviews, datasheet studies, and test result analysis, Analysis of assessment data
Experience in understanding hardware requirement engineering process.
Manages communication and alignment with all affected stakeholders.
Hands on mentality for testing and trying things out, schematics creation is nice to have
Knowledge and Education:
Bachelors or Masters in Electronics/Electrical engineering or equivalent from reputed university/institution
Very good written and spoken English skills.
Work Experience:
3 to 8 years of experience in Hardware testing or relevant job experience.
