🛠 Your Superpowers & Tech Context

We are not looking for a "traditional" backend engineer or a researcher who lives in Jupyter notebooks. We are looking for a Builder.

• The Profile: You have a strong Backend background and a Data Science foundation. You likely taught yourself to code because you love seeing products come to life, not just models.

• The Workflow: You adopted LLMs early. You view manual coding as a choice, but AI-augmented development (Claude Code, Cursor, MCPs) as your superpower.

• The Stack: Our current context is Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Spring AI, and Python. * Language Agnostic: You aren't married to a specific stack. You learn whatever is necessary to move the needle (TypeScript, Kotlin, or Python).

📋 What You'll Do and Own

You will be at the forefront of our "AI-native" evolution. You won't just use Copilot for autocomplete; you will be orchestrating the logic of a complex healthcare ecosystem.

• Architect AI-Native Workflows: Move beyond manual implementation. You provide the business context to AI agents, supervise their output, and act as the bridge between raw model capabilities and a polished product.

• Build & Scale with Context: Develop agents that automate scheduling and interact with internal systems (Linear, Notion, Slack) via Model Context Protocol (MCP) to ensure our models have real-time context.

• Full-Stack Ownership: From understanding a PRD in Notion to deploying a service in Kotlin, you take 100% ownership of the feature's lifecycle.

• Maintain Technical Excellence: While you might generate 80% of your code via AI, you are responsible for the 100% that reaches production. You ensure logic is bulletproof for clinical environments.

🔍 The Selection Process

We adopt a continuous selection process and move fast:

1. Intro Call: Mission alignment and background.

2. Product/Culture Fit: Deep dive into your "builder" mindset and proactivity.

3. Technical Take-Home: A practical challenge to see how you leverage AI tools to build.

4. Tech Lead Whiteboard Interview: A collaborative session to architect a system and discuss logic/trade-offs.

5. Founder Chat: Final vision alignment with Livo leadership.

Note: Fluent Spanish is a must-have for this role.
