When and how will the selection process take place?

The process will be held in person in mid-September 2026 in Barcelona. We are looking for students who will be starting their final year of an undergraduate or master's degree by September and who are interested in developing professionally in the area.

What will you be doing?

KPMG has made cybersecurity one of its strategic pillars. Thousands of multidisciplinary professionals integrate and collaborate in our global network, providing services that cover all key aspects.

Cybersecurity involves implementing robust systems capable of acting before, during, and after an event. Not only to prevent, but also to increase the trust of clients and the market, minimizing any reputational risk that could have a significant impact on the business.

Having solid cybersecurity systems is no longer an option today. It is a requirement for everyone: consumers, investors, regulators, and society as a whole. And all spheres of the organization must be involved in its management.

What do you need to know?

• Academic background: Computer Engineering, Software Development, Telecommunications, or similar. Lawyers specializing in Privacy and Data Protection. A Master's in Cybersecurity and Certifications (CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27001, ISO 22301) are valued.
• Required experience/knowledge in:
  • International information security methodologies, regulations, and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ENS, DORA, ICT RISK, PCI, SWIFT, etc.).
• We value knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • Information Protection, Privacy, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Design, configuration, deployment, operation, and maintenance of security tools.
  • Performing information security and IT risk analyses.
  • Development of information security regulatory frameworks.
• High level of English.
• Ability to sign an internship agreement starting from October 2026.
• Soft skills: Proactive, autonomous, with initiative, and a problem-solver.

¿Cuándo y cómo se realizará el proceso de selección?

El proceso se realizará en formato presencial a mediados de septiembre de 2026 en Barcelona. Buscamos estudiantes que vayan a cursar de cara a septiembre su último año de grado o máster y con interés en desarrollarse profesionalmente en el área.

¿Qué podrás hacer?

La ciberseguridad implica dotarse de sistemas robustos capaces de actuar antes, durante y después. No solo para prevenir, también para aumentar la confianza de los clientes y del mercado, minimizando cualquier riesgo reputacional que pueda tener un impacto reseñable en el negocio.

Contar con sólidos sistemas de ciberseguridad no es hoy una opción. Es una exigencia de todos: consumidores, inversores, reguladores y el conjunto de la sociedad. Y en su gestión deben implicarse todas las esferas de la organización.

¿Qué necesitas saber?

• Formación académica: Ingeniería Informática, Desarrollo de Software, Telecomunicaciones, o similares. Abogados con especialidad de Privacidad y Protección de Datos. Valorable Máster en Ciberseguridad y Certificaciones (CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27001, ISO 22301)
• Requerida experiencia/conocimientos en:
  • Metodologías, normativas y estándares internacionales de seguridad de la información (NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ENS, DORA, ICT RISK, PCI, SWIFT, etc).
• Valoramos conocimientosen alguno/s de los siguientes ámbitos:
  • Protección de la Información, Privacidad y Cumplimiento Normativo.
  • Diseño, configuración, despliegue, operación y mantenimiento de herramientas de seguridad.
  • Realización de análisis de riesgos de seguridad de la información y IT
  • Desarrollo de cuerpo normativo de seguridad de la información.
• Nivel alto de inglés.
• Posibilidad de firmar convenio de prácticas a partir de octubre de 2026.
• Soft skills: Proactivo, autónomo, con iniciativa y resolutivo.
