Mission:

We are looking to incorporate a Scientist Protein Discovery within the Scientific Innovation Office at Instituto Grifols S.A., a company specialized in the research, development, and production of purified plasma proteins with therapeutic properties, obtained through the fractionation of human plasma.

The main mission of this role will be to initiate, plan, coordinate, and carry out the technical aspects of assigned projects within the established timelines, ensuring that all developments, validations, and related activities are performed according to internal procedures and GMP regulations.

What your responsibilities will be

• Design and supervise laboratory experiments.
• Review and analyze data (graphs, statistical analysis, etc.).
• Write methods and technical reports.
• Prepare presentations of results.
• Develop and optimize new laboratory methods.
• Conduct literature searches and scientific reviews.

Who you are

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc.) and have completed a PhD in this field or possess equivalent experience.
• You have at least 2 years of research experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with in vitro/in vivo assays and patent review is desirable.
• You have strong statistical knowledge.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and GraphPad (preferred).
• You have strong time management and prioritization skills.
• You demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• You work well in a team environment.
• You show commitment and enthusiasm for your work.
• You possess an advanced level of English (C1/Advanced).
