As a Senior Solution Engineer, you'll be part of the Solution Engineering & Delivery team, dedicated to translating customer demands into standardized solutions that cater to customer needs. 

In your day to day, you will:

  • Assess the technical challenge of the customer, translating the customer's challenge into a solution that delivers value from leveraging Fourthline's proprietary solutions. 
  • Collaborate with the customer as the technical expert from the pre-sales stage, all the way to safeguarding a seamless transition to the delivery of the solution.
  • Own the technical aspect of the sales cycle and successfully portray a combination of deep technical and solutioning expertise, communication, commercial savviness and coordination skills between customers and internal Fourthline teams to achieve your mission.

As a Solution Engineer within the integrated Solution Engineering & Delivery team, your responsibilities span a spectrum of activities geared towards driving streamlined processes and delivering value. 

Key focus areas include:

  • Tailor and conduct in-depth explorations of our products, moving beyond traditional demos. Your objective is to intricately understand and present the nuances of our offerings to potential clients.
  • Take ownership of the Request for X (RfX) lifecycle, ensuring a seamless process from request to delivery. 
  • Act as custodian of the of Solution Design and Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Manage Proof of Concepts end-to-end, ensuring successful execution while delivering tangible results.
  • Take accountability for defining and managing a business case for new solutions or features.
  • Engage as the pre-sales technical counterpart for customer engineering teams, offering your expertise to bridge the technical gap and facilitate effective communication.
  • Bring practical experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, solutions consulting or technology consulting, highlighting your ability to navigate the sales cycle effectively. Proven experience in a B2B(2C) SaaS environment is a big plus.

About you:

  • You have demonstrated experience in Solution Engineering/Technology Consulting (minimum of 5 years)
  • You have proven Technical Proficiency: Exhibit a strong technical understanding and the ability to effectively describe and sell principles related to APIs & integration, information security, SaaS, and cloud-native architecture proficiency. Proven experience in a regulated financial environment is a big plus.
  • You possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, providing a solid academic foundation for your technical role. A master's degree is a plus.
  • You are adaptable and show Innovative Thinking: You show awareness of traditional architectures in fintech as well as traditional financial institutions and exhibit a passion for presenting compelling cases to encourage innovative thinking.
  • You have strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: You possess strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities crucial for addressing complex technical challenges.
  • Your Facilitation and Innovative Proposition Delivery are exceptional: you enjoy facilitating sessions and can think outside the box, contributing to the delivery of unique propositions to the market.

Joining as a Senior Solution Engineer, you'll be an essential addition to the Solution Engineering team. Your team will be focused on acquiring and integrating customers seamlessly and effectively. Next to prospects, you will collaborate with Marketing, Direct Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams on a daily basis to collectively fight financial crime.
