Job Title: Portfolio & Policy Manager

Corporate Title: Associate

Location: Mumbai, India

Role Description

Portfolio Management

  • Identifying good and bad segments in the portfolio to recognize the risk and take policy action to arrest weaker segments
  • Publishing MIS and sharing the same with key stakeholders.
  • Slicing and bisecting data on a regular basis to understand the portfolio performance at a product level, location level, segment level and the probable areas of concerns there
  • Portfolio presentation to various group stakeholders
  • Monitor Quick mortality to understand the portfolio quality, sourcing, any learning from the mistakes, if any and if there is a need for any policy revisions to avoid errors.

Credit Policy

  • Managing credit strategy for MSME lending primarily for products like Unsecured Business Loans, Loan Against property and Working Capital.
  • Preparation of Credit Assessment templates, policy notes, KOPs and implementation of various applications.
  • Interaction with different stakeholders in framing underwriting KOPs and credit policies.

Audits

  • Managing various audits like regulatory audit, group audit, concurrent audit.
  • Liasioning with auditors, sharing requisite information, adhering to timelines.
  • Ensure closure of findings as per timelines and monitor the effectiveness going forward

Your key responsibilities

  • Continuous monitoring of Portfolio and publishing of periodic MIS
  • Portfolio presentation to various group stakeholders
  • Managing MSME credit strategies with policy and process updation
  • Management of Credit templates
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Management of different audits

Your skills and experience

  • Candidate must have 8-10 years of experience in field of Portfolio Management
  • Candidate should have been professionally qualified either Chartered Accountant, MBA (Finance) or any equivalent degree related to banking / finance
  • Should be proficient in MS office
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Should be adaptable and proactive on implementing technological changes in process when implemented.
