Airbus Helicopters España S.A. (AHE) integrates the Rotorcraft activities in Spain being a tractor company of other Spanish entities that participate in the Rotatory wing Aircraft Industry.
EBSTIF perform Design and Stress activities participating in all the phases of the product, from specification to customer in-service support: conceptual and detailed design, support to production (non-conformity assessment, generation of documentation needed for manufacturing, etc.), support to testing activities, generation of evidences forcertification/qualificationpurposes and costumer support.
In this context, a temporary position to cover a paternity leave from 2026 May to December has arisen for "Air System Integration Engineer" within AHE, to be based in Getafe. In this role, you will be in charge of integrating and managing the complete lifecycle of the air management system, including technical modifications, production support and flight testing support.
You will be part of the transnational Air Systems Engineering team being responsible for ensuring the performance and airworthiness of the air conditioning system integration for Tiger MKIII. The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Engineering professional for Air System Integrator (ATA 21, 30, 36) will be to collaborate with a Multi Functional Team where you will ensure the execution of this system integration project by guaranteeing its performance in terms of Time, Cost, Quality and Technical Performance.
Your challenges:
· Contribute to AH Air system definition trade studies, encompassing structure design, stress and systems installations of the product.
· Autonomously perform moderate to complex levels of design solution development for the air system integration (ATA 21, 30, 36). Team assignments may include conceptual and detailed design, layout maturation, trade-off study analysis and certification activity.
· Contribute actively in close collaboration with all involved stakeholders (e.g., stress, system engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality, industry and customer) to the conception and integration of new Air systems installation concepts.
· Define and integrate robust technical solutions to consolidate a feasible baseline that demonstrates compliance with project requirements.
· Manage project: Due dates, budgets and resources. Accept broad objectives with agreed deadlines and establish the required tasks and how they should be completed.
· Coordinate technical activities with internal functions (Production, Customer Support, Program).
· Present and report on the progress of projects to different management levels.
· Already started project with established procedures and tight schedules.
Your profile:
· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in the design, development, integration and certification of aeronautical systems.
· Solid experience in air systems (ATA 21, ATA 30, ATA 36).
· Good understanding of Manufacturing Engineering and Materials & Processes.
· Composite Design experience.
· Recent hands-on experience with 3D CAD toolsets (CATIA V5)
· Very good communication and presentation skills to lead discussions on issues, solutions, ideas, and status of work.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities and requirements.
· Familiarized with CS29/CS27 certification processes and knowledge of regulatory requirements from authorities
· Professional proficiency in English (written and oral). French valuable
· Demonstrated ability to be comfortable with presentations and technical reports.
· Ability to work autonomously and integrate into an international team.
· Team spirit
