We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global leader in the meal kit delivery industry that helps millions of customers cook healthy, homemade meals without the stress of meal planning or grocery shopping.

As part of Zoolatech's distributed engineering team, you will join a Data & Behavioral Tracking team, responsible for enabling how product and marketing teams collect, manage, and use user behavior data.

The team owns the full lifecycle of behavioral data - from defining tracking requirements, to enabling engineers to implement and validate events, and finally making this data available for analytics and decision-making.

• Design, develop, and improve backend services for internal data tooling

• Contribute to building and evolving systems for event tracking, validation, and data management

• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to support behavioral data use cases

• Participate in architectural decisions, especially around backend systems and data flows

• Support the ongoing migration to a new first-party data platform (Snowflake)

• Improve system scalability, reliability, and maintainability

• Take ownership of features and contribute to continuous improvement of the product

• Strong backend development experience (Python + Django preferred)

• Solid understanding of system design, API architecture, and database design (MySQL)

• Basic understanding of frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

• Experience or interest in working with data pipelines, analytics, or tracking systems is a plus

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or similar) is a plus, but not a core requirement

• Interest or experience in GenAI / LLM-based applications is a strong plus

• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and proactively contribute ideas
