About the Team

The Purchasing team within ZF Aftermarket (Division B) focuses on strengthening and localizing the supply base across North America. The team works closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production to ensure suppliers meet ZF's standards in cost, quality, and performance. Collaboration and continuous improvement are key elements in managing a competitive and reliable supplier network. This role offers hands-on exposure to strategic supply chain initiatives in a global environment.

What you can look forward to as Project Intern - Supply Base Localization:

• Support technical and preliminary evaluation of regional suppliers
• Perform basic analysis of technical information (datasheets, processes, materials)
• Track and manage supplier documentation
• Support supplier development and qualification activities
• Assist in analyzing cost, quality, and supplier performance
• Participate in supply chain localization and continuous improvement projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Production

Your Profile as Project Intern - Supply Base Localization:

• Student in the final semesters of Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, International Relations, or Business
• Proactive mindset with strong work ethic and ability to take on challenges
• Interest in understanding technical processes and supply chain operations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international environment
• Analytical thinking with a structured approach to problem-solving
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft O365 tools
• Ability to read and write in English
