Drilling and grouting superintendent must ensure that the works under his/her area of responsibility are delivered successfully and on time. The superintendent must coordinate activities of drilling and grouting in the tunnel including the interface with TBMs and Drilling and Blasting works. The Superintendent is responsible to manage all interface and collaborates with the client, supervisors, engineers, to define project needs and oversee staff performance.

Responsibilities also include:

• Keeping track of project progress
• Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards
• Ensuring compliance with the environmental standards
• Planning for equipment and materials
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
• Set performance goals and deadlines
• Plan construction processes
• Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget
• Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
• Monitor and report on project progress
• Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities
• Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly

Requirements:

• The candidate must have a strong record of drilling and grout works performed both on surface and underground.
• The experience must include drilling and grouting with both low- and high-pressure technique and must have a strong understanding of the different equipment used for drilling and grouting as well as the materials during operations.
• Minimum experience in the drilling and grouting only not less than 20 years.
• A superintendent job duty will also include allocating and monitoring budgets.
• This role requires excellent communication skills, collaboration with various people such as construction workers, supervisors, and engineers.
