💼 About the role

As VP of Product, you'll own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Ultralytics Platform - our SaaS product for data sourcing, auto-annotation, cloud and local training, and deployment of YOLO models. You'll turn deep technical capabilities in computer vision and ML infrastructure into clear customer value, strong positioning, and durable growth.

You'll operate at both strategic and execution levels - defining roadmap priorities, pricing, packaging, and GTM while partnering closely with Engineering on specs, tradeoffs, and shipping. This role sits at the center of Product, Engineering, Growth, and Leadership as we scale our platform for developers and enterprises.

This role is ideal for a high-ownership product leader who understands developer tools, technical SaaS, and AI platforms deeply enough to read a PR, challenge architectural decisions, and make sharp product calls. 🚀 What you'll do

Strategy & execution

• Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ultralytics Platform across annotation, training, and deployment.
• Define market positioning, packaging, and usage-based pricing for B2B and self-serve growth.
• Translate platform capabilities into simple user value for developers, teams, and enterprises.

Product development

• Partner with Engineering to ship products built with Python, Next.js, React, TypeScript, MongoDB, GCP, AWS, and Vercel.
• Drive product specs, prioritization, and execution across ML infrastructure, model training, and deployment workflows.
• Improve activation, retention, and expansion through product analytics, experimentation, and customer feedback.

Leadership & collaboration

• Lead and scale a high-performing product function across Madrid, Shenzhen, London, and remote collaborators.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Growth, Support, and Leadership to align roadmap and business goals.
• Engage with the open-source ecosystem through our community and developer-facing guides.

🧠 Skills and experience

Core requirements

• 10+ years in product management, with 5+ years leading product teams or functions.
• Strong background in developer tools, ML/AI platforms, or technical SaaS products.
• Experience with product-led growth, usage-based or hybrid pricing, and roadmap planning.
• Deep fluency in computer vision, data annotation, model training, model deployment, and cloud infrastructure.
• Comfortable working directly with engineers and understanding architectural tradeoffs, APIs, and PRs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across time zones and functions.

Nice to have

• Experience with open-source products, developer ecosystems, or technical communities.
• Familiarity with Ultralytics YOLO workflows, documentation, or the company handbook.
• Background in B2B SaaS, product analytics, experimentation, and monetization strategy.
• Exposure to edge AI, cloud training pipelines, or enterprise ML operations.
• International experience across distributed teams and multilingual environments.
