As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the design and development of our backend systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and technical excellence across the platform.

Our backend platform is based on .NET microservices, primarily hosted in Azure. At the core of our system is Corniche, an API-driven core banking system that handles all financial transactions.

We have a distributed tech team with members in Borås, Stockholm, Gdansk, Malaga, and a partner in the Czech Republic. Travel may occur.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of microservices and their architecture using .NET Core.

• Drive cloud-based solution design and ensure robust, scalable, and reliable services using Azure Cloud Native.

• Oversee continuous integration, delivery, and deployment using Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Pipelines.

• Optimize systems and applications for high performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Implement and improve logging and observability using OpenTelemetry.

• Mentor and guide developers of varying seniority, contributing actively to technical and architectural decisions.

• Collaborate across distributed teams and ensure alignment on technical strategy and best practices.

We believe you have:

• Extensive experience in software engineering, typically 8-10 years, with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and Azure.

• Several years of experience in senior, lead, or architect-level roles, ideally as a Tech Lead today.

• Proven experience working with transaction-intensive systems and agile development processes.

• Deep understanding of system architecture and hands-on experience designing and maintaining microservices.

• Experience leading engineering teams or technical initiatives in distributed environments.

• Experience in e-commerce, payment solutions, or finance is a plus, as well as familiarity with systems like Corniche, Mambu, or similar.
