Descripción del empleo

We are looking for a structured, reliable, and highly committed Automation Engineer with strong PLC expertise and a pronounced focus on quality. In this role, you will work at the intersection of automation, process engineering, and standardized machine control contributing directly to the reliability, consistency, and overall performance of our automated systems. With your systematic approach and dedication to clean, compliant, and maintainable software design, you will help ensure safe, robust, and efficient machine operation across our entire product portfolio.

• Take ownership of software development and adaptation in Siemens TIA Portal for standardized machine platforms
• Conduct functional and safety tests in-house and support internal commissioning activities
• Analyse, structure, and implement automation requirements based on clearly defined standards
• Support process optimization activities (e.g., cleaning and sterilization processes) and assist in troubleshooting
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain software standards to ensure consistency and reusability
• Provide technical support to service, engineering, and project management during the full project lifecycle
• Participate in global machine acceptances and occasional customer deployments

Requisitos

• Highly structured working style with a strong commitment to established standards and best practices
• Experience in PLC programming, ideally with Siemens TIA Portal
• Knowledge related to cleaning and sterilization processes is an advantage
• Additional experience with Bosch Rexroth or Siemens Step7 Classic is beneficial
• Good English proficiency and openness to international travel when required
• Strong team orientation, solid documentation skills, and a pronounced focus on quality
• Analytical thinking, hands‑on mentality, and the ability to work confidently with cross functional teams
