Scopely is looking for an Advertising Operations Specialist to join our Global Advertising team in the Barcelona Office on a Hybrid basis!

The Advertising team oversees our games' overall ads operations, strategy, and product offerings. The team collaborates with our product, sales, and other teams to help improve in-game advertising.
What you will do
- Own day-to-day ad operations across web and mobile placements, ensuring accurate setup, trafficking, QA, and delivery of advertising campaigns
- Optimize auction performance and monetization by executing hands-on A/B testing, yield experiments, and configuration changes across mediation and ad serving platforms
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify issues and opportunities, executing optimizations with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and scalability
- Manage and maintain ad setups across multiple network and demand partners, including testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation
- Partner closely with Engineering and Product teams to resolve technical issues, implement ad-related updates, and ensure smooth integrations and releases
- Maintain platform hygiene and documentation, ensuring configurations, changes, and learnings are clearly tracked and communicated
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to support monthly billing close, discrepancy resolution, and ongoing invoicing questions
- Stay current on ad tech and industry best practices, proactively flagging opportunities and risks related to performance, compliance, and platform changes
What you will need
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Ad Operations or Digital Advertising, ideally on the publisher side
- Strong working knowledge of mobile ad operations, including trafficking, QA, yield optimization, mediation, and auction dynamics
- Practical experience with ad platforms such as Google Ad Manager, LevelPlay, and MAX (or similar mediation/ad serving tools)
- Understanding of web advertising setups and delivery workflows
- Strong familiarity with ad tech concepts including programmatic demand, targeting, waterfalls, bidding, SSPs and DSPs
- High attention to detail and a strong execution mindset; comfortable managing multiple configurations and ongoing optimizations
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (or Google Sheets and Slides) for performance analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
- Ability to clearly communicate operational issues, performance insights, and resolutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operationally intensive environment
- Passion for mobile games and mobile advertising
- Experience in mobile games or entertainment is a strong plus.
