What you'll build

• We are looking for a technical and experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect with expertise in SAP System architecture and infrastructure technologies. You need to be able to run technical PoCs, engineer and create new services, as well as drive critical projects across various teams.
• You will have a chance to directly shape and contribute to the overall SAP Cloud Services strategy as part of Global Cloud Operations.
• Lead the design and evolution of platform architecture and infrastructure at scale.
• Define and implement standards for automation, observability, reliability, and security.
• Drive platform modernization initiatives and enable intelligent, AI-assisted platform operations.
• Guide teams in adopting best practices and improve system performance, scalability, and developer experience.

What you bring

• Bring deep expertise in platform architecture, cloud systems, and large-scale distributed environments.
• Strong experience in designing scalable, secure, and highly available systems is expected.
• You should be skilled in observability, reliability engineering, automation, and platform governance.
• Ability to influence technical direction and lead cross-functional initiatives is critical.
• Fluent English language skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
