Santander Alternative Investment is looking for an Investment Associate / VP

based in Madrid

The candidate will actively participate in SAI' investment process, which includes primary fund investments, secondary market transactions, and direct co-investments.

We're shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

• Evaluating investments and key risk factors
• Lead & assist in the discussions with external GPs
• Conduct research and analysis on potential investment opportunities
• Assist with financial due diligence
• Prepare and lead investment committee materials
• Track and monitor portfolio investments
• Prepare marketing materials and investor reporting

Professional Experience

• 7-9 years of full-time experience in Fund of Funds, Private Equity, Private Credit, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, or a related field (Required)

Education

• Degree in finance, business, economics, engineering, or related field from a Tier 1 European university (Required)

Languages

• Fluency in Spanish and English (Required)

Hard Skills

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks (Required)
• Financial modelling (Required)
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (Required)
