The Position
The People Support Solutions (PSS) department brings its purpose to life by providing our colleagues worldwide with integrated HR solutions tailored to their needs. We are a team that works very closely together to ensure good employee relations, anticipate our customers' future needs, and proactively develop solutions.
As a Business Partner (Advisory) Team Lead, you will lead a dedicated team of 14 P&C Business Partners (Advisory) supporting people leaders across two major networks in the EMEA region. You will serve as an operational leader and a strategic catalyst, ensuring our global stakeholders receive high-quality, virtual, on-demand coaching while driving the continuous improvement of the Roche P&C model.
The Opportunity
Strategic People Leadership: Manage a team of 14 P&C professionals, overseeing resource planning, hiring, performance management, and career development via the "4 Cs" (Career, Capabilities, Connections, and Contributions).
Operational Excellence: Act as a critical escalation point for advisory topics, managing complex P&C cases and ensuring end-to-end solutions are delivered with a sense of urgency.
Stakeholder Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Partners and Business Partner Enterprises (BPE), effectively allocating team resources to meet diverse stakeholder expectations.
On-Demand Advisory: Oversee the delivery of short-term strategic guidance on performance management, succession planning, rewards, and organizational design.
Drive Global Consistency: Collaborate across the PSS network and other P&C Chapters to harmonize activities and ensure the EMEA region receives seamless, effective support.
Innovation & Insights: Leverage P&C metrics and data to troubleshoot root causes, share organizational insights with leaders, and recommend innovative, compliant solutions.
Project Leadership: Participate in global or regional squads for system launches and new P&C initiatives, upholding Roche's reputation as a world-class employer.
Who You Are
Proven Operational Manager: You have a strong track record of leading people and managing complex HR processes within a large-scale ecosystem (experience within the Roche network is a plus).
Expert Diagnostician: You can grasp broad generalist P&C topics, thoughtfully evaluate risks and benefits, and propose "fit-for-purpose" approaches for global leaders.
Influential Communicator: You possess "courageous authenticity" and the coaching skills necessary to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Customer-Centric Leader: You demonstrate deep end-to-end accountability, anticipating business needs and managing responses with high cultural awareness.
Agile & Analytical: You are comfortable using data and technology to inform decisions and can thrive in a fast-paced, virtual, and often ambiguous environment.
Change Management Catalyst: You have demonstrated success in leading others through transformations, redundancies, and organizational set-up changes.
