What You Can Expect:
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Analyze warehouse processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement standardized processes within warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with warehouse management and staff to develop and implement best practices.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track progress toward operational goals.
- Maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track progress and measure success.
- Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Manage change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimal disruption to operations.
- Assist in leading the operations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate operational excellence principles into daily operations.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and enhance service delivery through process optimization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Lead and implement safety programs - Safety Connect, Toolbox Meeting, Work Permitting, PPE Compliance, etc. for warehouse staff, ensuring all employees are informed about safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and safety meetings to enhance preparedness among staff.
- Submit DOLE Reports - monthly/ quarterly/ annually (WAIR, MOM HSSE Committee Meeting, AEDR, AMR, OSH Program)
- Provide Safety related trainings as needed - PPE Proper Usage, DG Handling, etc.
- Emergency Response Team Lead
- Assist the Safety Audit of Customers
- Collaborate with warehouse management to foster a culture of safety and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and inspections, and generate reports for management review.
- Stay current on safety regulations, best practices, and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, operational excellence, or safety management.
- Must have Basic Occupational Safety and Health - SO2 Certification
- Basic knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Working experience in using Process Mapping tools is a plus
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards applicable to warehouse operations.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Processes and KPI/SLAs.
- Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) training and/ or certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
