About the role

Our Wealth & Trading team is at the forefront of redefining how people invest, using data-driven tools to make smarter financial decisions accessible to everyone. We operate with precision and expertise, building cutting-edge solutions that empower customers worldwide.

We're looking for a Head of Wealth & Trading to ensuring the business is safely licensed, scalable, and engineered for customers across the region.

You'll lead trading and investments, from regulatory authorisation and product strategy, through to governance, risk, and commercial performance.

What you'll be doing

• Defining the local wealth and trading strategy and business plan, aligning with global strategy and growth objectives
• Leading the end-to-end build-out of the entity (people, processes, systems, governance)
• Shaping the customer proposition (coverage, products, pricing, features, education)
• Acting as a key senior point of contact for local regulators, supporting licence applications, approvals, and ongoing supervision
• Designing and embedding governance frameworks
• Ensuring full compliance with applicable securities, conduct, and consumer protection regulations, working closely with Compliance and Legal
• Owning the first-line risk management framework for W&T, covering market, operational, conduct, technology, and regulatory risks
• Providing clear leadership, coaching, and succession planning for the local team
• Owning P&L delivery, including revenue, cost base, and capital efficiency

What you'll need

• A degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, or a related field
• Expertise in W&T within banks, brokers, fintechs, or other regulated financial institutions
• A track record in launching, leading, or significantly transforming a retail brokerage or wealth platform
• An understanding of retail trading and investment products (equities, ETFs, funds)
• Knowledge of relevant securities and conduct regulatory frameworks in India
• Experience engaging with regulators, including responding to queries, inspections, and remediation
• Experience partnering with product and engineering teams in a digital environment

• Familiarity with fixed income and other asset classes
