Ensure the quality of raw materials, medicines, and other products manufactured and/or marketed by Calier through routine analysis.
- Perform planned daily quality control analyses of finished products, intermediate products, and raw materials, according to GMP regulations.
- Provide support in the planning of tests according to needs.
- Analyze and review quality control results and apply corrective measures if necessary.
- Immediately inform the direct supervisor or the Control Laboratory Manager of any deviations found regarding expected results.
- Ensure that material and product samples are correctly labeled.
- Maintain laboratory materials, reagents, and equipment in good working condition.
- Verify and monitor the proper functioning of analysis instruments. In case of any anomaly, inform the direct supervisor or the Quality Control Manager.
- Keep the work area and auxiliary equipment in strict order. Clean instruments and work areas at the end of the shift.
- General laboratory tasks: equipment maintenance, preparation of reagents, waste disposal.
- Inform the Quality Control Manager of any incident or observation detected, or any improvement in laboratory tasks and performance that could be applied.
- Provide support to new hires.
- Periodically perform some of the following general quality control laboratory tasks:
On-going stability studies, method and process validations, standard standardization, equipment maintenance and calibration, raw material supplier qualification, waste management, sample management, materials and reagent procurement.
- Support the direct supervisor in investigations of out-of-specification results.
- Comply with general and position-specific safety and risk prevention regulations, and ensure compliance by the rest of the team. Likewise, personal protective equipment (PPE) must be used when required.
