ROLE SUMMARY
TheDirector Affordability Strategy will be on ateam dedicated to patient affordability solutionswithinPfizer's[Specialty Care / Oncology] Business Unit,identifyingand applying best practices, strategicalignment with brand teams, analytics & monitoring of affordability programs,andvendor management. These programsare critical to the organizationand most importantly, our patients. Theyensurepatients areinitiatedon prescribed treatment,as quickly as possible,while balancing GTN impact, brand performance, organizationalgoalsandobjectives.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a critical role,responsible forshaping thefuture of Pfizer's affordability programsfor [Specialty Care / Oncology],as well as,oversightof program operational compliance. Thisindividualwill:
- Supportthe continued evolution of access and affordability strategies across Pfizer,planning for markettrendsthat impact patients(e.g.,accumulators/ maximizers)
- Assess and developpatient affordability programs(e.g.,copay, coupon, bridge,eVoucher, Prior Authorization support)for brandswithin our[Specialty Care / Oncology] Business Unit
- Facilitate[Specialty Care / Oncology]copay program P&L through strong partnership with Financeand Business Unit partners
- Work cross-functionally to provideinputonGross-To-Net (GTN) strategy
- Collaborate within the patient support organization to successfully pull-through[Specialty Care / Oncology]access and affordability programs
- Partner with PPS Patient Solution Insights and Analytics on analytics initiatives, to ensure consistent program performance measurement and insights
- Partner with Digital to develop data management processes and platforms to support better understanding of affordability / copay data
- Partner withLegalandComplianceteams to ensure programs are compliant and evolve as needed based on new laws / regulations
- Facilitatevendor relationshipsfor[Specialty Care / Oncology]to successfully execute copay program operations, and auxiliary tactics to ensure program success
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
- Bachelor's degree; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred
- 8+ years' experience inaffordabilityprogramstrategy / design/ analytics,patient services, pharmaceutical GTN finance,or related arearequired
- Experience managingaffordability / copayvendors tooptimizeprograms
- Demonstrated success in a highly fast-paced setting
- Strong project management, analytical,and organizational skills,with cross-functional teams of diverse colleagues
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and prior experience in presenting to leadership
- Ability toreceivedirection from seniorcolleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
- Commitment toreceiving developmentand coachingfrom leadership
