What responsibilities will you get when working with us?

Lead design strategy across one or more product squads, translating business goals and user needs into coherent design direction that shapes product roadmaps and team priorities.

Use AI-native workflows to collapse the gap between strategy and production, prototyping and iterating directly in code rather than through static handoffs. Lead by example in adopting tools like Lovable, Claude, and Cursor for end-to-end design execution.

Establish and maintain high craft standards by defining foundational and reusable Agentic Experience patterns, designing scalable components for the design system (Nexus), and reviewing work to ensure quality and consistency.

Mentor and develop designers through critique, guidance, and structured feedback-helping them grow their craft, decision-making, and ability to work autonomously with AI-native tools.

Partner with Product and Engineering to align on experience strategy, success metrics, and technical feasibility-translating design insights into business outcomes and measurable impact.

Conduct user research and run experiments to validate design decisions. Define success metrics, gather feedback, and iterate fast-always balancing speed with quality and bias toward shipping.

Lead design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and strategic discussions with your design peers and cross-functional partners. Communicate design rationale clearly with data, influence decisions, and build alignment around priorities.

Identify gaps and opportunities for design improvement and innovation. Propose and champion new approaches to solving complex problems-whether through design systems improvements, new AI patterns, or cross-domain initiatives.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will need:

Proven experience in UX / Digital Product Design, with a strong portfolio that showcases shipped work, live prototypes, and measurable business impact-not just static screens. We kindly request that you share your portfolio in advance, as it is an essential part of our interview process. Unfortunately, we won't be able to proceed with scheduling an interview without it.

Demonstrated expertise in AI-native design: you actively use AI tools (Figma Make, Lovable, Cursor, Claude, etc.) as a core part of your design practice and can teach others how to leverage them effectively.

Experience building or contributing to design systems, including code components. You understand how design decisions impact engineering implementation and can collaborate deeply with engineering teams.

Proven track record mentoring and developing designers. You give and receive candid feedback, help others improve their craft, and create psychologically safe environments for growth and experimentation.

Strong product and business thinking: ability to frame problems strategically, connect design decisions to business outcomes, and define success metrics that demonstrate measurable impact.

Excellent English communication and influence skills: you articulate design rationale clearly with data, facilitate complex discussions, and drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

Growth mindset and adaptability: you thrive in ambiguity and rapid change, prioritize learning and impact over mastery of any specific tool, and are excited about emerging technologies and evolving design practices.

Location details

This role can be based in the following locations: Spain (remote or Barcelona) or Portugal (remote or Lisbon). Please note that OLX does not provide relocation support for this position.
